Welcome to Palm Beach Dermatology
Thank you for selecting Palm Beach Dermatology. All physicians in our group are Board Certified by the American Board of Dermatology and are Fellows of the American Academy of Dermatology. We are committed to providing our patients with the finest and most complete skin care in a responsible, friendly, and efficient manner at a cost which is both fair and reasonable. The quality of our services has been recognized by many groups; most of our physicians have been selected to be listed in a “Best Doctor Directory” (Best Doctors in America; Florida Trend Magazine; Miami Metro Magazine; Palm Beach Illustrated).
Our doctors have offices, which are conveniently located throughout central and northern Palm Beach County.
Dermatology is a specialized field of medicine, which includes the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the skin, hair, and nails. There are innumerable rashes, tumors, growths, infections, and cancers that may affect the skin. Treatments may be medical or surgical. All of our doctors have significant experience in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of skin cancers. We are also concerned with maintaining healthy skin and perform procedures to cosmetically correct the effects of the environment and aging of the skin. We also have programs designed for facial rejuvination.
The dermatologist is placed in a somewhat more challenging role than in other areas of medicine because the patient can not only see the disease but also is able to influence the condition for better or worse by what the patient does to it. We therefore try to convey to you as much information as possible about your particular skin disorder and encourage patients to ask appropriate questions.
As the specialty of Dermatology has become more complex in recent years, we have determined that it is in our patients' best interest to have physicians specialize in certain dermatologic procedures so that you can benefit from being treated by dermatologists with the most experience and state-of-the-art technology. We therefore have specific doctors who perform laser surgery (for hair removal, wrinkles, tattoos, blood vessels, and age spots); cosmetic procedures such as Botox, Restalyne, collagen, peels, microdermabrasion; sclerotherapy for leg veins; PUVA, Narrow band Phototherapy, and other ultraviolet treatments of psoriasis; and Mohs surgery for advanced or complicated skin cancers. Our Mohs surgeons have completed a one-year fellowship in this subspecialty after completing a 3-year dermatology residency.
