Biography:
Frances Ramos-Herberth, MD is a native of Puerto Rico and grew up in Florida. She attended the University of Florida where she graduated with Honors holding degrees in French and Microbiology. After obtaining her MD degree from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, Dr. Ramos-Herberth completed her internal medicine internship and dermatology residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas. She served as Chief Resident in the Department of Dermatology during her final year of training. After completing her dermatology residency, Dr. Ramos-Herberth moved to California to complete her fellowship in Dermatopathology at Stanford University. Dr. Ramos-Herberth is board certified in both dermatology and dermatopathology and is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society of Dermatopathology. She has authored multiple publications and abstracts, and has presented at several local, state and national meetings. Her professional interests include general medical dermatology and skin cancer. Dr. Ramos-Herberth is trilingual and speaks English, Spanish and French. Her personal interests include travel and spending time with her family. In addition, she has volunteered her time both locally and internationally.
