Our doctors have offices, which are conveniently located throughout central and northern Palm Beach County. Dermatology is a specialized field of medicine, which includes the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the skin, hair, and nails. There are innumerable rashes, tumors, growths, infections, and cancers that may affect the skin. Treatments may be medical or surgical. All of our doctors have significant experience in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of skin cancers. We are also concerned with maintaining healthy skin and perform procedures to cosmetically correct the effects of the environment and aging of the skin. We also have programs designed to rejuvenate the face. As the specialty of Dermatology has become more complex in recent years, we have determined that it is in our patients' best interest to have physicians specialize in certain dermatologic procedures so that you can benefit from being treated by dermatologists with the most experience and state-of-the-art technology. We therefore have specific doctors who perform laser surgery (for hair removal, wrinkles, tattoos, blood vessels, and age spots); cosmetic procedures such as Botox, collagen, peels, and microdermabrasion; sclerotherapy for leg veins; liposuction for body contouring; PUVA and other ultraviolet treatments of psoriasis; and Mohs surgery for advanced or complicated skin cancers. Our Mohs surgeon completed a one-year fellowship in this subspecialty after completing her 3-year dermatology residency. |
