Medical Assistants

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to

  • Room patients
  • Obtain patients’ chief complaints and medical histories
  • Scribe in our EMR for some locations
  • Assist our physicians during patient examinations
  • Assist with surgical procedures
  • Suture removal and medical dressings
  • Complete paperwork for laboratories
  • Notify patients with pathology and/or laboratory results / log pathology results
  • Schedule appointments when needed
  • Autoclave/sterilize instruments
  • Stock exam/surgical rooms
  • All other medical assistant duties

Qualifications: To qualify you must:

  • Be a team player and work well with others
  • Be organized, efficient, and ethical
  • Be dependable, punctual, and professional
  • Be knowledgeable in medical terminology and computer confident
  • Have the ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions
  • EMR experienced in some of our EMR locations would be a plus
  • Dermatology experience would be a plus

Front Desk Coordinator

Responsibilities included but not limited to:

  • Check in, Check out. (Collect copays, deductibles, and coinsurance).
  • Insurance Verification (Must have vast knowledge of insurance benefits and how they apply to medical visits).
  • Answer phones, schedule appointments, and confirm appointments
  • Data Entry, Medical Scanning
  • Referrals
  • General Office Duties
  • Assist with some administrative duties
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in a busy medical office and have knowledge with the above responsibilities.
