Biography:

Dr. Sherling is joining Palm Beach Dermatology from Boston, Massachusetts where he was the Associate Director for the Laser and Skin Health Center at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Dr. Sherling is board certified by the American Academy of Dermatology and has expertise in general dermatology, skin cancer, and laser and cosmetic dermatology.

Dr. Sherling received his medical training at the Yale University School of Medicine and his dermatology training at Harvard Medical School, where he served as chief resident. He then completed a year-long fellowship in Lasers and Cosmetic Dermatology at the Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Sherling maintains his ties to Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women’s Hospital as a clinical instructor in dermatology.

Dr. Sherling enjoys treating patients of all ages and skin conditions in a caring and compassionate manner. He believes in listening carefully to patient concerns and practicing in a respectful and unrushed environment in order to determine the best treatment plan for each patient.

Married to a native Floridian, Dr. Sherling is excited to connect with his family in Florida. While he is open to rooting for his wife’s alma-mater, the Florida Gators, as a native New Yorker, Dr. Sherling remains a passionate Yankees fan. When the Yankees are not in the post-season, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing music, and going to the beach (after applying at least SPF 30).
