Biography:
Dr. Miranda Rosenberg is a Palm Beach County native and attended both the Bak Middle School of the Arts and Suncoast High School. She graduated from Harvard University cum laude with high honors in government. After college, she served as a Fellow with Tony Blair’s foundation traveling to sub-Saharan Africa, London, Chicago, and Boston to work on projects to eradicate malaria. Before attending medical school she also worked with the Special Prosecutor for Prescription Drug Trafficking in the Office of Florida’s Attorney General and as a quality improvement consultant for the New York State Department of Health-AIDS Institute.
Dr. Rosenberg graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine where she won the John R. Stanley research prize for her work on cost barriers to dermatologic prescription medications. She was lead author on the widely publicized JAMA Dermatology article “Changes in Retail Prices of Prescription Dermatologic Drugs From 2009 to 2015” and has been featured by dozens of news outlets including the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and LA Times. Dr. Rosenberg completed her intern year in the Department of Internal Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and her dermatology residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital.
She has expertise in skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, complex medical dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, and laser surgery. Dr. Rosenberg is also a contributor for ABC News Medical Journalism Unit. She remains involved in resident education as voluntary clinical faculty at the University of Miami and oversees a special resident clinic for cutaneous complications of oncologic treatments at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
In her spare time, Dr. Rosenberg can often be found at the West Palm Beach greenmarket or working on improving her photography skills.
